Press: NuStep’s T4 Earns Therapy Times 2009 MVP Award

August 28, 2009

ANN ARBOR, MI - NuStep, Inc. is pleased to announce that the T4 Recumbent Cross Trainer was chosen as the Therapy Times 2009 Most Valuable Product (MVP) in the category of physical therapy products.

The T4 was nominated by readers of Therapy Times, a weekly online publication for therapy professionals. Bob Stott, editor at Therapy Times said the MVP contest was proposed to physical therapy professionals to “get an idea of the tools, equipment, services, or accessories that they consider integral to their team’s success and/or what products were crucial to enhancing the integrity of the entire field.”

After advancing to the final round of selections, the T4 had to be formally nominated by a credentialed therapist, as per contest requirements. In NuStep’s case, an entire physical therapy department nominated the T4. The PT department at Rainbow Rehabilitation Center, an Ann Arbor, Michigan therapy center that specializes in rehabilitation for brain and spinal cord injuries, nominated the T4 calling it an “invaluable rehabilitation tool” for their clients with traumatic brain injuries. With clients at all levels of rehabilitation, from very acute to long-term management, Rainbow’s PT staff said the T4 is “the first, or only, cardiovascular machine that can be attempted with our clients for a full body workout.”

Steve Sarns, vice president of sales and marketing at NuStep said, “We are honored to be named the Therapy Times 2009 MVP award winner in the physical therapy product division.” He added, “The true life transforming magic of NuStep begins when dedicated PT’s, like those at Rainbow Rehabilitation, use our product as a tool to help motivate and improve the function of their clients.”
